The Great Gatsby Boxing

On Friday, 16th May 2025, we hosted our fourth annual Great Gatsby Boxing Gala—and what a night it was!

Thanks to your generosity, energy, and incredible spirit, we’re proud to announce that we raised over £155,000 to support our work with young people across the community. This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our headline sponsors, Statom and Aitch Group—thank you for helping us make such an extraordinary impact.

Already looking ahead? Early bird tables are now available for next year’s event on Friday, 15th May 2026. To reserve your place, please email: brogan@wickers.org.uk

The Great Gatsby Boxing

2023

Keeping in line with our annual 1920’s themed event, we welcomed guests with undercover paparazzi and tap dancers whilst they were serenaded into our drinks reception and kindly greeted with a glass of champagne.

With surprise acts from the iconic Gospel House Choir and James Argent – it sure was a night to remember as guests partied into the early hours.

We were all on the edge of our seats as the boxing was second to none. Every single one of the competitors were outstanding. The event wouldn’t have been made possible without the hard work and dedication of our boxers. So, a special thank you to:

Charlie Wooldridge
Andrew Southern
Tobo Yanni
Sam Huth
Ben Ridgewell
Harry Martin
James Butler
Sonny Shillcock
Oliver Bloor
Rocco Zanelli
James Feltham

We are beyond proud to say that in total we raised in excess of over £150,000! We simply can not believe it. It takes a village to make change. So, we would like to give a special thank you to,

Wooldridge Developments
Aitch Group
WOW Hydrate
Equifinance
The Connor Brothers

The money raised will help us change the trajectory of young, vulnerable children in East London.
We are forever grateful for your support.

Until 2024!
